Midwest Institute for Non-Surgical Therapy

Vascular and Endovascular Specialist located in St. Louis, MO; Swansea, IL; Evergreen Park, IL; Chicago, IL

Welcome to MINT

Midwest Institute for Non-surgical Therapy (MINT) offers comprehensive outpatient services for diseases of the veins and arteries and for health conditions that improve with vascular treatment. Board-certified Interventional Radiologist, Goke Akinwande, MD, and the team at MINT give each patient personalized care at their offices in St. Louis, Mo and Swansea, IL.

MINT offers compassionate care through three areas of specialization: the Vein Center, Vascular Center, and Fibroid Center.

At the vein center, patients can eliminate spider veins and varicose veins. The experts at MINT treat the underlying cause of unsightly veins, Venous Insufficiency, as well as deep vein problems such as Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. They offer safe and highly effective treatments such as Sclerotherapy, Vein Ablation, Varithena and VenaSeal™.

The vascular center focuses on Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), restoring circulation by clearing blocked arteries. PAD is one of the top causes of amputation, which is why MINT proudly serves as a dedicated Amputation Prevention Center.

MINT also has a dedicated outpatient fibroid center in St. Louis. Here, Dr. Akinwande and his team perform a uterine-sparing procedure called Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE).  This procedure allows the elimination of fibroid symptoms without major surgery such as a hysterectomy.

The specialists at MINT are passionate about providing the most advanced, evidence-based medicine to all patients. They believe in giving patients the information they need to make the best decisions about their health. Providers go out of their way to give each person an excellent level of care, creating a positive experience while restoring vascular health.

To schedule an appointment, call the nearest office or use the convenient online booking system today.
